The book is divided by chapters of the early days of the area, our farming, industries, ranching, towns, churches, schools, the history of when and how we began as Crowley County and what we are in 2011. The Sugar City history book is a collaboration of the Sugar City Book Committee (Joyce Manweiler, Imogene Bauer, Myrtle Kaufman and Loie Norris). The group worked to put together the history of Sugar City, CO that first came out in print in 1982. The books can be purchased at the Crowley Heritage Center.
