Our goal is to make available all useful information about the Crowley Heritage Center Museum, where the history of Crowley County is on display. The story of the determined survival of a diverse mix of people from several cultures who homesteaded on some of the best grassland in southeastern Colorado.

Mission Statement
Our Mission is to preserve Crowley County History through the display and protective care of photographs, memorabilia, and publications about the Crowley County area of Colorado. That we may inform and instill a desire and pride for those present and future generations. That they may learn from our past those things that will prepare and enhance their future.
Historical Restoration of the Sugar City Gates
Check out our story on how the Crowley County Heritage Center came to help restore the National Sugar Manufacturing Company Gates in Sugar City, Colorado.
The town of Sugar City in Crowley County was once a boom town at the turn of the twentieth century. When water flowed from the newly dug Colorado Canal, allowing beet crops to become a viable resource for refined sugar in the area, the National Sugar Manufacturing Company was built, and German-Russian immigrants and others flocked to the site so quickly.

Banquet Hall Available to Rent
The Crowley County Heritage Center’s upper level is available for parties, receptions, anniversaries, and family reunions for a reasonable fee. Many businesses and organizations also use the rooms for workshops and events. A kitchen and sound system are provided at your leisure.
